Release Date
On June 27th, the Summer CUBS program reopened for 2022. CUBS is a collaboration among WAMS, Woodland Academy (a Worcester public elementary school), and Clark University that gets elementary school students excited about learning. Many of the CUBS kids ask to come back year after year. This summer, special enrichment sessions have been added to the literacy, math, science, and art classes, including two programs by educators from Worcester’s EcoTarium and a music demonstration by local professional musicians. The special programs are made possible by grants from United Way of Central Massachusetts, the Carpenter Foundation, Webster Five Foundation, and Cornerstone Bank.
