Update on Past Appeal

Thanks to you and our other mission partners, we are also able to make a difference in the lives of children and families through the fund drives the friends of WAMS support.  The most recent one has been the work to provide car safety seats to the Afghan families that have relocated in central Massachusetts.  Back in March, we asked our church supporters and many others to donate $1,500, so we could provide a dozen families with infant car seats.  Your response was overwhelming, and we were astonished to raise $4,500!  That generosity turned out to be a real blessing, because there were more families needing car seats not just for their new babies, but for their young children.  So far, we have bought at least 23 car seats, as well as bassinets for families living in motels and $700 worth of diapers.  We have some money left, and we still expect more requests.  We will use all the funds to support evacuee and refugee families.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
