The Worcester Area Mission Society is delighted to welcome Vanessa Ramos as our new Director of Programs. Vanessa earned her Masters degree in Nonprofit Management at Worcester State University and has experience working with both adults and children. Most recently, she was the Outreach Coordinator for Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services. Vanessa is a Worcester resident. She knows the community and the public schools. Her son is a recent graduate, and her 10-year-old daughter is a WPS student. Vanessa was a volunteer member of the WAMS Board of Directors and created our new social media presence. She resigned from the Board to take the Director of Programs position, and her energy and skills will be important assets for WAMS.
